Denver is my first design object, and I still think it is one of my best projects. My inspiration was the “New World ” Symphony by Antonín Dvorák, and the idea of a space that is open to infinite new possibilities.I think the slimness and elementary shapes of the Denver express the vision of the flowing and jagged lines in my architecture.
DENVER, 2009
By meticulously subtracting, I obtained a form that appears in its most minimal terms, much like Gio Ponti succeeded in doing with the Lama model.
This is rendered more sophisticated by the dynamic movement impressed by a slight but significant alteration to the classic geometry: an idea of aerodynamic beauty rooted in contemporaneity. — Daniel Libeskind
