Production process
The creation of the Wu lounge chair begins with a thoughtful design process, focusing on achieving a sleek, ergonomic silhouette. High-quality, sustainably sourced wood is carefully selected for its strength and aesthetic appeal. The frame is cut and shaped with precision tools to ensure seamless joints and structural stability, while the soft, flowing lines are refined through meticulous hand-sanding. The seat and backrest are upholstered with high-resilience foam and covered in premium fabric or leather, chosen for comfort and durability. The upholstery is expertly fitted, with detailed stitching that enhances both the chair’s aesthetic and functional qualities. After assembly, the frame is treated with a natural oil or lacquer finish to protect the wood and bring out its grain. Each chair undergoes a final quality inspection to ensure it meets Artisan’s high standards, resulting in a piece that is not only visually stunning but built to last - a timeless embodiment of craftsmanship and design.

Fabio Damiani and Marco Quistini established the studioPANG in October 2012, with the shared idea that by combining different skills and passions, the project approach is enriched with new forms and perspectives.
